Bible Schools
House Cambodia/IVBI Bible Schools
This ministry of "...equipping the saints for the work of the ministry" is continuing to grow and expand each year as students go out sharing what God has done in their own lives and what they have learned.
After being baptized in the Holy Spirit, and with new boldness, they are going throughout villages and provinces praying for the sick and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Word is spreading and each year more and more are wanting a Bible school in their own area. Many of these areas are rural, farmlands and villages. Students who never thought they would be attending a Bible School, because of lack of money, transportation or education, are now rejoicing and growing through God's provision for them. We humbly thank our partners who have supported this ministry to reach this Cambodian Nation for Christ. By bringing Bible Schools to underprivileged areas all over Cambodia, we are bringing manna from heaven to spiritually feed the hungry and thirsty God's Word.
If you haven't in the past, would you consider partnering with us financially to reach Cambodia for Christ? A small monthly donation can make the difference in keeping a student or school going to complete their two year studies.
Ministry costs money. A student in the states going to a college or university for 1 year can cost as much as $20,000.
The cost for sending 23 cambodian students to our 2 year Bible School is $7200.00, (or $300 per month). Just think
how far your donations will go in spreading the Gospel throughout the nation of Cambodia through these local Bible Schools. Perhaps your church would consider adopting a school for 2 years. Or you might consider helping a student or two for $25 or $50 a month. Your donations mean so much and are so far reaching only heaven will truly know, but your reward will be great!
Help us continue to spread God's Word and build leaders throughout Cambodia.
STUDENT TESTIMONIES
Testimony - Pursat: "Before when I'm not a student in Bible School my life was so afraid and I had a lot of temptation. For sometime I felt scared. The time that I came to study Bible I began to know and understand that I am so weak with the Word of God. Then I begin to understand more and more by the Word, I was doing wrong."
I say thank you Papa Don and Mama Maria to come here and start Bible School and our teachers Pastor Bunreth and Pastor Soquern. Thank you so much for bringing the Word of God to give us strength and life. This is a joy that I have. Thank you so much.
Testimony - Svay Reing
"Pastor Bunreth's teaching of the Word changed my life and really touched my heart. Before I just know a little bit of God's Word. This year my heart has been changing a lot from the first lesson, "New Creations" to the last one "Ministering unto the Lord". Now I get rid of my doubts, and everything feels 100% very clear. Maybe people here feels they need forgiveness of mistake, you must ask God for forgiveness of mistakes as I have done."
Testimony - Veal Vang "I feel so joyful, I don't know where to start. God called me
to come and study in this Bible School. If there was no God I might not be here. It is because of God's grace He guided me to this place. I thank God I now complete 2nd year. I am committed to serve God and share gospel and teach Bible to others. This year I learned to give offering from the heart and tithe. I remember lesson from Malachi 2:3 most. Everything is God's so when I read this I was amazed that it all belongs to God. The world doesn't know God and are not thankful, but we as Christians know Him. Giving offering, sacrificing our time, and tithing to God changed my heart. Really good lesson. Thank you to teacher. I want classes to continue so I learn more. Sorry that as a student I didn't always listen well but I wants to apologize, and learn more of God's word."

Testimony: "I am a pastor of a small church in my home. I prayed to go to Bible School but don't have money and it is too far for me to leave my farm and family for long times. Bible School make it easy for me to come and learn 4 days a month. Before I not sure if what I am teaching is good. I only went to weekend seminar to become Pastor. Now after a year of going to the IVBI Bible School (THC Bible School), I have lessons I can keep, and preach Bible from these lessons. I very excited to learn more of God's Word. I have more confidence that I preach good now. It is good to come together with others to learn."

In January, the first month of Bible Schools, we visited a new school that was starting their first year in Siem Reap. Everyone was excited to begin their classes. They all came in chattering and laughing then politely came over with their hands clasped together for the tradition bow and greeting. While everyone was excitedly talking, there was one lady who came by herself and asked for prayer. She seemed very tired and down. I was asked to pray for her through an interpreter. She believed she was cursed since her husband and several other family members had died. I remember asking her what her name was. I was told it was Ean, meaning Shame. The Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said "change her name" so I did. I named her Esther...for such a time as this and prayed over her. When we were done praying she smiled and sat down. This was in January and today she still answers to her new name, Esther.
Esther had heard about the Bible School and had decided she was going to attend even though the school was 19 miles away. She walked! Just got up early and began walking. I heard her shoe had broken so she had to walk barefoot most of the way, but she made it to school. She has been faithful to her classes every month walking those 19 miles each way.
This month her classmates, after taking a collection, surprised Esther by presenting her with a brand new bicycle.
Esther has learned and experienced the Father love in ways she never imagined. Her life is no longer cursed but blessed. She loves the Lord and sharing His goodness. Every month when she goes home from school, she shares with a group of people in her village all that she has learned at Bible School. Esther is not just a hearer of the Word, but a doer of the Word. Esther is illiterate!
