Update on Pastor Sahka's new home construction

A few months back we shared with you an urgent need that a great leader and Pastor had here in Cambodia.  This Pastor had raised up several Leaders and Pastors under him to take the good news out in the countryside and surrounding area where he lives.  He as been faithfully involved with On The Frontline Ministries for over 12 years. He and his wife have 3 children of their own and have also adopted 7 orphans. At the time we met Pastor Sahka, he and his family lived in this house which was leaning over. At that time it looked like a good wind with finish the job.

Just this last winter, the rainy season came and flooded their house and surrounding grounds.  Water was coming into the sleeping areas where the children were on their beds and this of course, also brought snakes and other crawlies looking for dry ground.  They had to move into the church building in order to stay dry.  Many of you heard this story and helped us raise money to build a new home for this family.

Praise The Lord  - between On the Frontline Ministries and those of you who gave,  there's been enough to get the project well under way.  We are trusting God for the remaining funds to come in so they can move in before the rains in June.

The new home will be 3 feet higher than the one that got flooded out last year as it will now stand above the flood area. There will be a bedroom for the boys and 1 for the girls and 1 for pastor Sahka and his wife. Needless to say, they are extremely excited and happy.

Thank you so very much for your donations and prayers. Because of your generosity this family is looking forward to enjoying a safe and dry home.
