Sunbeam Sisters

A few weeks ago I invited a friend to speak at our Bible club meeting. She is a local Restaurant Manager who spoke to the girls about planning for their future.  She shared what employers are looking for when hiring employees and of course told about the restaurant business.  Paula was the first to come and speak to the girls.  It is my hope to have several professionals come and represent their areas of expertise and how they got there, exposing the girls to thoughts about their future and ways they can possibly earn a living after high school.  There are not many opportunities here, but exposing them to various possibilities can open their horizons and goals to press into finishing school and/or university and learning English will be a great help in their future.  

Next week we have a nurse coming to speak after our Bible study.
