I can't believe how time is flying by. We moved to this new area in May and it's already the end of June.
We started our first Bible study with a few Pastors and church leaders the first week of June. The second one was canceled due to rain. When it rains it is often heavy rains. Guyana is below sea level and many areas get flooded which makes it hard to travel. It's a little like the Modesto area street corner floods, but here most people do not have cars and it's harder to get around. Still these Pastors that come are hungry to be taught the Word of God. Many have very little, if any, formal training in the Word and some barely read or write. However, they have a tremendous fervency for the Lord and are eager to learn.
