December Update
Greetings to all,
2011 is here and will be with us for the next 12 months. This year will pass by very quickly, so let us not hesitate in serving the Lord each and every day. Job 36:11…”If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasantness and joy.” (Amplified Bible). Will you join Maria and I in trusting God for days of prosperity along with a year of pleasantness and joy? We can have that by serving the Lord and setting our eyes on Him now and all year long Phil. 4:6 “…for nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God; Phil. 4:7…and the peace of God, that is surpassing all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.” So don’t worry–just have a blessed year and trust in the Lord with all of your heart.
We are leaving for Guyana, South America March 1st and will return March 23rd. There are 6 others going with us as we take water filters into the jungle villages, do children outreaches, adult daytime teachings and evening crusades. It will be an exciting trip for all us and we are trusting God to keep us protected from all harm and evil.
We would like to take 20 more water filters with us, we have the money for 3 but want to get 17 more. The cost is $150.00 each. Each filter will filter enough dirty or rain water for 100 people a day and filter a total of 1,000.000 gallons. Many children and adults die or get sick from their current water supply. Will you pray about helping us?
We also need children’s Christian books. There is a church of about 250 deep in the jungle that has ask us to bring summer clothing for children. There is no way for us to carry that much in our suitcases, but if we had the money we could buy the clothing at the market after we arrive there and then get the clothes to them. This would be another tangible way of helping…any amount would be a blessings.
Maria and I pray according to God’s word that you will be blessed when you come in and when you go out. May the peace of God fill your heart and your mind – may all that you put your hand to prosper, may you lift up the Name of Jesus and glorify Him in all that you do – in the Name of Jesus - Amen.
