Teaching in Komreang District

Yesterday we traveled to the Comreang District which is in the provence of Battambang but about 2 hours out by car.   It rained all the way there and while we were there some as well and of course the roads were pretty muddy.  We went through one area that last week had been flooded. An entire section of the road had been washed away.

The District Pastor over this area is Pastor Cong Keuy pictured here with us.
He has 40 Pastors under him and about 40 Timothys being raised up to be Pastors and go and reach others for Christ.  There were 30+ leaders present at the meetings.

We had an awesome time teaching the Word of God and seeing lives touched by it.  The people in this area are survivors of the Khmer Rouge. Most were either victims or part of the military at that time.  It would probably be difficult to find someone not affected in someway by what happened here.
