We've had a great visit to the states this year. God is so good having us meet specific people at just the right time and doing just the right thing or being counseled with just the right information and guidance. We are both encouraged and excited this year with the direction we see God taking us regarding the Bible Schools and our ministry in general. The next 8 to 10 months are going to be a busy time for us. Please remember to pray as we prepare to leave for Cambodia on August 30th. Pressing Forward This year we’ve been challenged with vision to take the Bible School Ministry to the next step. Over the past 6 years there have been 500+ students who have completed the 2-year Bible Schools. However, once they do, we lose track of their progress and have no contact with them. The vision now is to raise up regional leaders to connect and meet with these alumni. In late 2019 we'll begin the process of having a yearly conference where all alumni come together, and hear other successful leaders speak into their lives, thus staying connected and growing. We're excited to get back and start planning, following God's leading in what he has set before us. We have been given the opportunity to visit a ministry in India with Pastor's Daniel and Tara Vattiprolu in December of this year. They have several Bible Schools established in their country similar to ours. We'll be with them for 5 to 7 days in order to share about our Bible School and learn from theirs. We're blessed to have Pastor Bunreth, our Cambodian Bible School Director, come with us. Please pray for safe travels and a profitable time of sharing for all of us. While in India we will also visit the House India churches with Pastor Kode Abraham who is very interested in information on how to start Bible Schools in his area as well. They have a network of 14 churches wanting to grow in the Lord. Glory to God. The House, Modesto Missions Team from SEU Nor Cal University and The House Modesto March will be an exciting month as we welcome a visiting Missions Team from SEU-Nor-Cal University and some members from The House Modesto, our home church. We'll put together their itinerary, which of course will include visiting one of the Bible Schools, visiting ministries we partner with and ministering both to adult Bible School students and various children and girl's ministries. The schedule will be packed and we're excited with the interest and enthusiasm already shown regarding the trip.  When one is led to take a missions trip, you can know for sure that there are faces waiting on the other side of your obedience, to receive what God touches your heart to give. Ministry Review Approximately nine years ago, Kathy and I had the pleasure of getting reacquainted with Maria and Don Whitney as they were called to minister in Guyana. Over the years as the Lord has continued to direct and expand their missions ministry, we have considered it an honor to continue to support this ministry. We have always seen the love of Jesus in their hearts, the Godly integrity in their walk and the passion for the lost in their spirit. It’s because of this, Kathy and I continue to be blessed and excited to be a part of this incredible ministry. We've had a profitable trip raising funds for the various projects set up for next year. However we're still short on our goal to get at least $500 more in monthly givers to have a sustainable monthly budget to cover growing costs. A steady monthly support, regardless of the amount, is the foundation that sustains us in all that we do, both with the schools and the children.
