A smile with a sense of accomplishment
Don and I are very thankful for all the life experiences we have had.  At the time, some seemed good and others not so good and yet God uses these very things to mold us into His image as we trust and submit to his will for our lives.  Don told me he wasn't thrilled about helping his father build houses as a young boy and having to learn carpentry.  Yet, he has often expressed how thankful he is for what his father taught him as a boy.

Today he is using all those skills to teach other young boys who live here in Cambodia.  These boys are orphaned and getting to an age where the government will not allow them to stay at the orphanage.  Therefore, it is important that they learn a life skill that can give them a better future.

They are learning how to use various tools and of course safety skills.  It does get frustrating sometimes not being able to communicate fully with them, but it's amazing how well they are doing when only one of them speaks a little english.
