THE VILLAGE OF JIB
Welcome to our Newsletter Update. Many of you have shared how much you enjoy following our God Adventures here in Guyana. We thank you for your comments on facebook and emails. It's always good to here from home. As you will see we've been busy here, but it's a good busy that keeps us excited in anticipation of what God will do next.
God has opened up doors in the past few days for us to begin a Friday night Bible Study in the Village of Jib. There are no churches in this village with a population of 500 people. We will be meeting in a "Bottom House" which basicly means underneath the house. It is an open area with no walls, and the upstairs living area is on stilts. There is electricity for lights a few benches and a dirt floor.
Jib has a hand full of Christians that have no church to attend. We've been told that most of the people in this village are either un-churched or of the Hindu or Muslim faith.
The brothers and sisters in the faith there are anxious to have us come and teach them the Word. Please keep us and this outreach in your prayers.
