Today we visited with the local authorities and brought Tet Holiday gifts. This is a custom during the Vietnamese New Year where gifts of cookies and other sweets are given out. Our friends from HCMC came to help and we met with the local officials. They were very happy to see us and greeted us with the traditional cup of tea. It was a great day!

We all came back to the house and Phuong cooked a great lunch for us all. Lots of talking and laughing. It was a good day. Wish I could have taken more pictures.
