We celebrated Don's 67th Birthday yesterday. We went to our friends house for an official Vietnamese dinner and celebration. We had a time of worship, singing, laughing and just enjoying each others company at the house.
Out back on the farm land they were planting young coffee plants. This Banana farm was changing over to a coffee farm. The workers were friends that came out to help from a village church up north in Di Linh. After cleaning up, they began helping the wives and "Mommy Phuong" prepare the food for dinner. Great bunch of brothers in the Lord.

Once dinner was ready they began setting the table which was actually the floor.
Food dishes kept coming in as everyone sat around the floor. We of course got to sit in chairs...thank you Jesus. I would never have gotten back up!
Don had a great day. He was treated like royalty and honored. I think he loved every minute!
We had a great time and made it back home on the motorcycles before the monsoon rains hit. That was a very good thing, because the road leading to the house was very muddy and slippery.
