Recent Bamboo Train Ride
Recently we had visitors from our hometown, Modesto come stay with us. We decided we would do a Battambang tour, being as we'd only lived here a short time, we'd not had time to see any surrounding sights since moving here.
Here are some of the sights.
First we went on a bamboo train ride

So you climb on and sit on flat pillows. They don't do any good when your bouncing around on these bamboo slats.
This is what it looks like before you get on.
It can go pretty fast so you have to hold on. It's a pretty straight bumpy ride, but then you see another cart coming at you on the same track...
No problem. You just get off your cart and the train workers pickup your flat cart, put it on the side of the road, let's the on coming cart go by, then puts your cart back on the track, you get back on and you proceed forward....til the next time!
