Anointing Leaders

This month we had our quarterly leadership training for the Bible school instructors.  Besides having a great time of fellowship, we shared a sweet time of worship. These leaders are committed and faithful to the call God has given them.  They continue to be excited for what they themselves are learning and being able to share with others the Word of God.

Here is a clip from our last newsletter telling about our leaders and what God is doing at the schools.
We started 4 years ago with just 1 Bible School and this year we have grown to 4 in various provinces of Cambodia.  Let us introduce you to some of our Leaders/Instructors.

Pastor Soeuy Lak -
is the instructor at the new KiriVong Bible School.
At our recent Leadership Training Meeting, Pastor Lak shared that, "Students are growing in their knowledge of the
Word and showing increased passion for the lost. They are going to differently villages to share the gospel."
Pastor Lak's dream is to do church planting, so he is excited to see the fruit of their students training. Since January the school has grown to 15 students and in March four were baptized in the Holy Spirit.  PTL
Pastor Serann is a Senior Pastor of a Spirit filled Evangelical church in Chhouk Village.  He has been talking to his people for two years about having a Bible School.  Pastor Serann leads a group of 180 Pastors in his province who have committed to spend 1-1/2 hours every morning for prayer and worship (individually) in their homes, and meet together on the last Saturday of the month for prayer and fasting.
Pastor Serann helps teach at the KiriVong Bible School.  His desire is to start a Bible School in his village next January.  When commenting about the Bible School he said, "During lectures, students also share and discuss.  After hearing the discussions we can tell they are understanding the Word and can see joy in their faces."
Pastor Soquern - Pursat Bible School

He is a pastor of a Four Square Church and operates an orphanage at the same locationHis Bible School is in it's second year and running

about 26 students.  We asked him if he'd noticed any changes in the students since attending Bible School.  He said," I see life changes in them. Students show more love for the Lord.  They are gathering people together in their homes and areas to worship the Lord.  They are visiting our church members and volunteering to teach the children.  Yes we too, see more passion and involvement in the church.  Because of what they have learned they are braver to stand up in front of people and share the gospel. Some have potential to be a pastor."

Pastor Sing Ourn

Svay Reing Bible School, now in it's 4th year.  This is a countryside school, where God's Word is being opened up to people who might never have heard the Gospel before. This man is a faithful servant who has opened his home on the farm, for the monthly Bible School classes.  Students that are attending are growing in the knowledge of Christ and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit as well.

Pastor Meas Samol - Veal Veng Bible School

This is one of the instructors in the countryside of Veal Veng.  This area has many illiterate people who desire to grow in their knowledge of the Word so they can witness to others.  At our last meeting it was decided that these illiterate people would also have opportunity to join the Bible School and listen to the  teaching. Others will help them with verbal exams. We expect this school to grow not just in numbers but for the Kingdom of God to be established in ALL areas of Cambodia.

Meas Samol is a First Year Graduate of our Pursat School.  He will complete his second year this October.
