Esther's House Christmas shopping!
Thanks to one of our donors, we were able to take the girls at Esther's House shopping for Christmas. What a great time we had with them. Here are a few pictures I can post but please excuse the blotted out faces for the protection of the girls.
The mall we went to was very crowded with small little isles full of vendors of every kind, but these girls all stuck together with their house moms in their appointed groups. Each one carefully pick up items and looked them over. They checked with the moms and looked into their envelope to see how much they still had to spend. Some found it easy to spend everything in one day. Others were cautious, checking and rechecking their envelopes trying to decide how much they should spend. At the end of the day, everyone had a bag of full of shirts, pants, underwear, or dresses they picked out for themselves. I know you can't see them but they all had happy faces. It was totally a girly shopping day! Thank you Jesus for letting us spend this day with these special treasures so dear to your heart.
