CEF classes are almost over

The Child Evangelism Fellowship classes have been going well.  Next weekend will be our last practicum.  We each have to prepare and teach a Bible story lesson to the class, while weaving in and out of the story the salvation message, and giving the invitation and assurance of their salvation, to the child (or in this case, the class).
We must have our visuals done and anything else that will bring the story alive to the children.

Songs, and memory verse, must be able to explained the salvation message.  They must be made colorful and with excellence.

We were all busy little beavers!

Last weekend we began choosing our start up dates, locations, and teams to begin Good News Clubs in churches; but mostly after school, in neighboring villages where children can come after school or as they are, to hear, learn and apply the good news about Jesus.
Here we are practicing new songs in a village church.  We did our Bible lesson with them and taught them new songs to sing.
The young ladies in the following picture where intent on learning their songs.  As we were leaving they held on to the music book and kept singing the song.

I look forward to starting our Good News Club here at the end of this month.  Several of the neighborhood children know that it's coming and are anxious for us to start.  We'll keep you posted on the progress and God's favor with the children and their Muslim parents allowing them to come.
