Monthly Leadership Meeting

A few weeks ago we went to a monthly leadership meeting for On The Front Lines Ministry, Inc.
It is always exciting to see these leaders coming in from the various outlying provinces to pick up their boxes of materials for the month.  Each one knows exactly where to look to find their name or province in one of the boxes.

They carry these boxes back on their mottos, driving sometimes 2 to 3 hours away and some of these boxes are quite heavy.

One reason we like going to these meetings is because we meet such interesting and wonderful saints who have gone through the trials and some through the shadows of death and yet have come out victoriously, their faith intact.  These are what I call Heroes of the Faith!  Each has their own story to tell.
This is Yolin.  He has a smile that completely takes up his whole face.  Sitting with him at lunch as he told us his story was just amazing.
He was a young man during the Khmer Rouge take over but still remembers and has the scars to prove what he went through.  He was forced to work out in the field making baskets used to carry out dirt during that time.  His hands and feet would be cut and infected but he was still made to work.  Eventually he ended up with infections and ultimately leprosy that ate away at his fingers and toes.

He came to know the Lord while living and working in the camps he had been taken to.  He is married and sits here with his little granddaughter.  He too is one of the leaders who has served for many years with On The Frontline Ministries.
