More Updates

For those of you who have not known of the current journey we're on.  I would ask you to visit previous updates beginning with June 26th.  This week we went back to visit the surgeon in Palo Alto who gave us a report on the MRI.  He felt we needed to see a different doctor in the Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Dept.  This new doctor is head of the department and seemed quite knowledgeable on these tumors.  He will be doing the surgery but feels radiation will be necessary as well.  On Thursday he is having us meet with a board of Doctors from Standford University for further opinions on how to proceed.  While things do keep moving on, for Don and I it just doesn't seem fast enough.
We realize we are in God's hands and He is fully in control.  We try to be in constant contact with our friends in Guyana who are waiting for us to return, however, we realize it might be a while before we can return.
In the meantime we are staying in a small motorhome on my daughters property and enjoying our visits with family when not on the road from Fresno to Palo Alto.  These trips can be very tiring.
My son Jaime and his family came down from Gillette, Wyoming and I got to see my grandchildren and play with my new grandbaby girl, Evangelina.
What a cutie she is.

Don did some shooting practice with the grandsons out back.
We've also visited with Don's Son and family along with his daughter Teri.  Lourdes, Jeff's wife always cooks up great meals for us.  Got to mention Jeff's great Tri Tip too!
