End of Semester Celebration June 18 2010
Champion's Bible Training Center completed it's 1st Semester of classes. Our last day together before breaking for the summer included a wonderful time of worship and Thanksgiving to the Lord. Some of the student's Pastors, and other guests attended the celebration as well.
Don is shown here encouraging the students and commending them for their faithfulness to complete their classes.
A total of 22 students received certificates of completion of for classes taken.
For some students, this had been the first time they had ever tried to take classes of any type let alone Bible classes. They found that they enjoyed learning about the Bible and then applying God's Word to their lives. They kept coming back to class even when the weather was bad and there was no transportation. Two of our ladies traveled by bicycle in the rain for 5 miles just to get to school.
We continue to join together as a class, believing God to supply the funds to purchase a cantor (truck) that will hold 30 - 35 people for transporting students to and from school. Some live far from the main road and others are just not able to pay the bus fare once they get to the main road.

These students were faithful and this was a time of rejoicing.
Students testified sharing what they had learned and how they had grown closer to God through learning his Word and experiencing the the Change of Heart Class, which we started with.
