Warapoka June 15, 2010

After traveling in the pouring rain, and believe me when I say pouring, we arrived in the village of Warapoka.  We were wet and tired.

Warapoka is a Island with about 500 people.  Coming to meet us and take us to the visitors center was Pastor Lucius,  a dear friend from the Healing Hands Bible School.

Pastor Lucius took us to our sleeping quarters where we could unpack get dried off and settled in.  Later he came back before service at which time a we gave him various medical supply items and glasses we had brought for the villagers from churches in the states.  He tried on some much needed reading glasses for himself as well.

A water filtration system was also demonstrated and given to Pastor Lucius.  These water systems can supply water for up to 100 people per day for a lifetime.

Mark Neitz preached and we all ministered at the end of the service.
The evening service was a total party for Jesus.  Worship was awesome.  Seven young people gave their hearts to the Lord.  God's faithfulness to bring healing was off the chart as people were prayed for, then began dancing and worshipping God.   It was a Holy Ghost Party!

These little worshippers did not miss a step or note when it came to singing and celebrating our Lord.  They were a great little worship team.  They sang, danced and played the morracas and tamberine with that special Amerindian beat!

The boys were not going to be left out either.  They joined in by seriously drumming on the table to the music.

This was a memorable trip indeed.  Inspite of rain, hard floors, heat and humidity, bugs etc., we had the Good, the bad, and the absolutely Glorious.  Kingdom Work Accomplished...thank you Mark and Mike for helping make this trip possible and for bringing the water filters.

Also want to thank Harvest Christian Center and Soul Harvest Worship Center for their donations of medical supplies, glasses etc. and all those individuals who also sent donated items.

Most of all we want to say Thank you God!
