We started out our day by packing buckets for water filtration systems that were to be passed out at the villages we visited. We also brought lots of aspirins, reading glasses, sun glasses, tooth brush sets and bottles of Visine. All things that are rare to find in the Interior.
We were sure to have Bibles to give out and plenty of mosquito spray.
After loading down the boat we were on our way speeding along the Pomeroon River toward the Atlantic Ocean.
We finally crossed part of the Atlantic and going through the various windy rivers rain forrest that would lead to our destination.
The sky, the water and the canopy of trees and shrubs over head is breathtaking. Disneyland can't come close to the beauty and excitement of this ride!
We explained and put together water filtration systems for the local villagers who were amazed at greatful to have something to filter their water.
We also gave out medical supplies and reading glasses.
Later we minister and showed a cartoon Vegetale Movie to the children and a full length Christian Salvation movie for the congregation.
It was a great visit. Maria ministered to the ladies and Mark, Mike and Don ministered to the men. They were left with a Water filter, Bibles, medical supplies and dictionaries they had requested from our last visit. The ladies wanted to look up words from the Bible which they didn't understand.
