Hello everyone,
Things have quieted down here. The house is now feeling a little like home. As I sit here writing I can hear the children playing across the road at the elementary school. The garden man is racking the sea of leaves out side. This makes us happy because unwanted critters can hide under those leaves.
There are two big black dogs on the property. Don't know their names but they can be intimidating to strangers that come to the gate. So far I think we're friends. The gardener keeps up the grounds and takes care of the fruit trees. He is also our next door neighbor and "jack of all trades". Everyday he bring us fruit from either the property here or his own place. He smiles a lot but we don't understand each other.
We are in the highlands or tribal country area. While it is a little warm it doesn't seem to be very humid. (We like that).

The house is coming along. It looked pretty dreary when we first saw it but with a little paint and some homey touches it's starting to feel like home. We purchased a needed refrigerator, cabinet to keep the dishes put away from criters, a bed, wardrobe cabinet and stove and viola...home.
