This is Christmas Eve. We went to our new friends home and had dinner with their family. A very different Christmas Eve for us.
Phoung met us as we drove up to her home.
The family had already begun cooking outside. Kind of like a barbeque. Interesting set up though.
Everyone sat on the floor to eat dinner. It is amazing how these people can bend and squat so easily. Guess age is showing here. We're just not quit as limber as we used to be.

After dinner Phuong's mother took us for a walk, along with the children, through their property and Don helped harvest something that looked and tasted a little like small potatoes. We walked through various vegetation and banana groves. We covered approximately 5 to 6 acres.

After our walk everyone sat down and some took their daily afternoon REST, which is quite common here. We came back home and had dinner. At the moment we waiting to call home and talk to family.
